WHat we do

CHP

Cogeneration – Providing internally located acoustically treated CHP enclosures, or fully packaged weatherproofed external containerised plants, we are able to generate electricity to serve your site. This will displace expensive imported electricity. During the generation of this electricity we recover the engine jacket heat in the form of LTHW (up to 90°C) for use within your process or for heating.

Most manufacturers, especially within the food and beverage industry use steam within the factory and we can produce steam from the high temperature exhaust gases from the CHP engine. This then displaces steam usually generated from your site’s boilers, saving on natural gas costs.

Trigeneration – Where there is little or no heating requirements within a facility, such as a plastics moulding factory, we can produce chilled water for use within the process or for HVAC purposes.

This effectively reduces reliance on your conventional electrically driven chillers and also displaces the electricity they would normally use from the grid. Additionally, lower running hours on these compressors means greater service intervals and reduced maintenance costs.
